Function Description：
BACnet Gateway, BAC2004-Lite (featuring 2 Ethernet port and 4 RS485 serial ports, dynamically supporting 1024 points), is capable of collecting data from Modbus and BACnet IP , and forwarding it to BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP server, and OPC UA server.
The gateway utilizes X2BACnet software for configuration, where "X" represents various acquisition protocols, "2" is a homophone for "To" indicating conversion, and "BACnet" signifies the ultimate standard BACnet IP server supported.
Users can configure projects based on the on-site device point list, forwarding them to a standard BACnet IP server. Once uploaded to the hardware gateway, BACnet client can access data from on-site devices through the gateway.
Note: The Modbus register addresses on the gateway's acquisition side start from 1 in decimal (Base1) and from 0 in hexadecimal (Base0).
Application Field：
Addressing the integration of Modbus RTU devices with building automation configuration software such as Johnson Controls' Metasys, Honeywell's EBI or Niagara, Siemens' Insight or Desigo CC, and Schneider's EBO, including various devices that support the Modbus RTU protocol like PLC, DDC, temperature controller, elevator, HVAC system, UPS, fire alarm system, smart lighting, electricity meter, water meter, and more.

Register Type:
The BACnet gateway supports a BACnet IP server, which supports the following register types and maximum number of points as shown in the table.
Note that the number of gateway registers is dynamically supported, with each type of register capable of supporting up to the total number of points supported by the gateway.
